Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...er...safe to launch your drone. Congress is working on legislation that may have far reaching and unintended consequences on commercial and recreational drones. Read about it:

After watching and participating in the FAA request for public input on Remote ID mandated by congressional law, I was pleasantly surprised the overwhelming response from users was heard and made a definite impact on the the final regulation. It would be a shame if some well-meaning but ill-informed politicians managed to kill the hobby while trying to make it more secure.

Wow. I did recently get an Autel EVO Lite+. For now, I might be ok using it. Surely, if DJI gets banned, the rest will slowly follow as well.
