Palm launch issue.

Whenever I palm launch my Spark drops down to about 3 feet off the ground. I can initiate palm control and raise it up but for the life of me I can’t figure out why it drops down after launch. Help?

Check if the sensors and camera bellow the Spark is clean and if any protective plastic film is removed.
Is it operating correctly in normal fly mode, especially just after take off?
When you double click the battery button, is the Spark in front of your head?

Yeah everything is clean, in normal (RC & phone) flight modes it acts correctly, and yes it’s directly in front of my head.

Sorry, no other ideas apart waiting for an update that improve gestures. I have issue having my hand recognized and then even more to move it.

After the double click, do you wait until front lights turn from green to red before letting it go..?

Actually this was my issue. I was releasing it before the leds turned red.
